SAM is an eponymous royal residence and the administrative headquarters of the now defunct SAM monarch. Located at the start of Waterloo Street, the palace used to hold prestigious art and culture events and functioned as the area's centre of the arts.

During the late 2010s, the palace closed its doors for the purpose of "Reconstructive Work" as its non-binary ruler, SAM, made plans to revitalize the palace's once celestial and iridescent architecture.

A rainbow wall has also been put up to "protect the dignity and sanctity" of the building.
